El Naturalista [The Naturalist] originates from La Rioja (Spain),
a fertile, prosperous land known for its artisan shoemakers since
ancient times. They know their trade, their quality and how to strike
a healthy balance between tradition and modernity. Our name expresses
a different way of thinking and acting. Being a “naturalist”
entails respect for a rich, profound philosophy that lays its trust
in life and attributes everything to Nature as a primeval driving
force. Using pull-grain "stream leather", the shoes are
tanned using vegetable extracts and ground tree bark, churned for
weeks, and greased using natural fats to impregnate the leather,
providing an exclusive finish that naturally protects from water,
